River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau Celebrates Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month with Proclamations from Governor Evers and Mayor Toland

RIVER FALLS, WI – September 1, 2025 – The River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau is excited to announce that September is being celebrated as Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month, officially recognized by Governor Tony Evers in a statewide proclamation and by Mayor Dan Toland of River Falls with a local declaration. This dual recognition highlights the vital role the Chamber plays in strengthening the local and state economy.

The proclamations from both the state's highest office and River Falls City Hall recognize the Chamber's commitment to supporting local businesses, fostering economic development, and enhancing the quality of life in the community and businesses we serve.

“We are deeply grateful for our incredible business members, the supportive River Falls community, and our strong partnership with the City as we celebrate Chamber of Commerce Month. Together, this engagement fuels a thriving and growing community where collaboration creates lasting impact,” Rosa Magnus, Chamber CEO reflected.

Mayor Toland will officially declare September as Chamber of Commerce Month for the City of River Falls on September 9, 2025, at the City Council Meeting. This local proclamation underscores the strong partnership between the City and the Chamber in promoting a prosperous and evolving business climate.

The River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau has a variety of upcoming community events and special programming in September and will recognize this honor during those activities, which includes:
  • Leadership River Falls: Applications open in September for local business leaders to have a “school year” of leadership skills and education in partnership with the Chamber’s BELL (Business Education Leadership Link) Committee.
  • Chamber Coffee: September 5th at CVTC, in partnership with CVTC and Security Financial Bank.
  • Bacon Bash Festival: September 19th & 20th, in partnership with the City of River Falls and the River Falls FFA and FFA Alumni.
  • Downtown Car Cruze: September 21st, in partnership with the City of River Falls and the River Falls FFA and FFA Alumni.
