Principal Secretary, High School

River Falls High School is seeking an experienced office professional to serve as the secretary to the building principal beginning on June 26, 2023.

Main responsibilities include budgeting, assisting with the master schedule, and serving as a main point of communication with staff, parents, and the community in working with the building principal.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma at a minimum, telephone reception experience, strong human relations and communication skills, strong computer skills, ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage diverse personalities, ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality. Preferred candidates have prior budgeting background using excel or Skyward.

1,968 annual work hours, July 1-June 30; $18.26 per hour or current secretary step. An excellent benefits package based on full-time employment is co-paid by the employee and school district.
