Join us for a free demo class we're calling Yoga with Weights. This one-hour class pairs your love for familiar yoga poses with the addition of light weights that all adds up to a full-body strength and conditioning workout. It's a high energy class that builds muscles over time. If you don't like the weights, drop them and you'll still get a great workout because we'll offer  lots of modifications. Give it a try!

We tend to believe that even aging itself causes us to become stiff and achy. Hanna Somatic Education (HSE) is a neuromuscular re-education of the body and nervous system that can relieve chronic pain and enhance performance by restoring posture. By retraining movement patterns, HSE helps alleviate painful musculoskeletal conditions and prevents recurring injuries. Hanna Somatic exercises are easy to learn and are immediately effective. In this 4 week workshop you will receive 8 hours of instruction, an understanding of your habitual postural patterns and how to release them. The workshop is held 4 Tuesdays in May giving each participant the ability to practice what they have learned each week and receive feed back the following week.

Smudging, whether with sage or other herbs is an ancient ceremony passed down through oral tradition through generations. It has been practiced by Indigenous people for thousands of years. Recently it has become misappropriated in American society. The intention of this workshop is to offer the opportunity to receive the smudging teaching through oral tradition so others can carry this sacred medicine authentically.

Join me as we host Peter “Goon Halfaday, a member of the Bad River Band of Ojibwe from Ashland, WI. He is a Fire Keeper, Chef, and Indigenous food sovereignty expert as he shares this teaching with us.

In Ojibwe tradition, when we seek teaching from an elder, it is tradition to bring an offering to make merit. An offering of wild rice, maple syrup, or tobacco. For this teaching of sacred medicine Chelsea Lambert Enterprises will be making such an offering. Feel free to bring your own too as a personal offering if you feel called to do so.

Bowl For Kids' Sake is an annual fundraising event organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin. The event involves teams of 4 to 6 individuals coming together to raise at least $100 per person for BBBSNW programs by participating in our annual bowling event.

Participants in Bowl For Kids' Sake often seek donations from friends, family, and colleagues to support their bowling efforts. The event is not only a fun and engaging way to raise money for a good cause but also serves as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of mentorship and the impact it can have on the lives of young people.

The event involves prizes, team costume contest, and a festive themed atmosphere making it an enjoyable social activity for participants while contributing to a meaningful mission. The funds generated from Bowl For Kids' Sake help Big Brothers Big Sisters continue to provide mentorship programs that empower youth to reach their full potential and build stronger communities.

The Bhagavad Gita teaches us that "Karma Yoga" is a path of selfless service, compassion and kindness.  At Inspiring Actions, we believe it is important to give back to the community and create opportunities for those that may not have the financial means to take a yoga class. 

This class welcomes those who enjoy a slow paced, gentle class. Whether you are new to yoga, or an experienced practitioner, this class will help you unwind and release stress. Students will have clear instruction on how to safely move from standing to the floor, and options to make poses accessible and comfortable. Chairs are available if you prefer to stay seated.

Karma Gentle Yoga is held on the second Saturday of each month. Anyone can attend free of charge or make a donation of any size to support the Abundant Yoga Community.

Children are invited to explore yoga-meditation, breathing techniques, peace, and deep relaxation through games, music, movements and play children will learn strength balance flexibility and self-regulation. For kids ages 4-9, $12/class. 

Join us for an afternoon of tranquility and self-discovery at "Rest & Renew: A Path to Inner Stillness". This event is designed to help you find peace and relaxation through gentle yoga, calming breathwork, and soothing meditation. Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing for years, this event offers something for everyone. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and join us as we journey towards inner stillness and rejuvenation. Led by instructors Lakken Bowe and Rachel Klein at Inspiring Actions Yoga in Hudson.

This class will be held outside at Cracked Barrel Winery OR inside due inclement weather.
