Description
The roundtable will include screening of a 30 minute selection from Ken Burns' PBS documentary "The War", three 10-minute presentations by UW-River Falls history faculty on the U.S. (Kurt Leichtle), the European (Kiril Petkov), and the Asian (Zhiguo Yang) perspective on WWII and how they are reflected in the documentary. A question-and-answer and discussion period will follow the formal presentation.
