        Women's Self Defense Seminar

    Description
	Instructors:
Dr. Joshua Cleveland, Owner/Instructor at Synergy Judo and Jujitsu and Mr. Bruce Whitaker, RF Police
	What will we train?
Self defense training is different than traditional Judo or Jujitsu primarily in that we are not working for points or submissions but rather to save our lives.  We will show you primarily how to avoid confrontation and make yourself a less attractive target.  Even with the best emotional preparation, at times, the use of force is necessary.  Our goal is to empower you with simple, effective techniques that can be used immediately without years of training.
	Who is this seminar for?
Anyone who has concerns about safety.....for themselves, for their kids heading off to college, for their families or friends or for their community at large.  A well informed, well trained and aware individual is not a great target for those who wish to do harm. You CAN be better prepared.
This seminar has been taught for several years in River Falls and is always fun, exciting and SAFE.  Many people who train with us have been a victim of violence in the past. We are always sensitive to that and maintain a safe environment to assist in that healing and regain control!
Please call and RSVP before January 10th.
