Description
The Saint Croix Valley Employers Association's (SCVEA) was formed in 1979 by a small group of business leaders. Today, SCVEA's mission is to promote workforce development in the St. Croix Valley by addressing broadly defined HR and other business needs with a vision to build a better business community by being an asset and a resource for St. Croix Valley employers. SCVEA is hosting a Labor Law Clinic in October that will cover the following topics: ? Wisconsin Fair Employment Act (with ADA updates/changes) presented by: Mindy Dale, Attorney at Law with Weld, Riley, Prenn and Ricci. You Be the Investigator presented by: Mark Robarge investigator with the Civil Rights Bureau of the Equal Rights Division.Terminating with Confidence presented by: Deb Pagel, Consultant with Wipfli LLP Current Updates (EFCA, etc.) presented by: Tom Revnew, Attorney at Law with Seaton, Beck & Peters.
