Description
Best-selling author, editor-at-large for Time magazine and MSNBC political analyst Anand Giridharadas will speak at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Tuesday, March 8.
Giridharadas will present on his book “Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World,” a New York Times bestseller. The book has been named one of the New York Times 100 Notable Books of 2018, listed as one of National Public Radio’s Best Books of 2018 and named one of the Washington Post’s 50 Notable Works of Nonfiction.
There will be an interview and Q&A session for the campus and community from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in 222 North Hall Auditorium. The event is open and free to all, and all are encouraged to attend a reception beginning at 4:45 p.m. outside the auditorium. Due to COVID-19 concerns, masks are required in university buildings.
