Description
Program highlights: • Discuss change talk and explain the differences between preparatory change talk and commitment language • Recognize change talk as it occurs in usual client interactions • Practice responding differentially to client language cues • Build a personal protocol for evoking change talk from clients • Practice evoking change talk in a real play interaction • Learn ways to continue integration and personalization of MI into your work Prerequisite: Completion of Level I or equivalent training in Motivational Interviewing as determined by the instructor
