Description
Come see, get in and touch over 50 trucks and vehicles that will be on display. There is no admission charge – this family event is absolutely free to attend. The event is held every other year the Saturday before Father’s Day. Past attendance has varied between 2,000 and 3,000 people.
The locally produced event, "Touch-A-Truck For Kids", began in 2004 and features trucks and vehicles of all types and typically includes huge earth movers, an off road dump truck, cement truck, road grader, 170 ton mobile crane, a John Deere corn harvester combine and much more. Even get behind the controls of a C-130 Hercules military transport airplane flight simulator or captain a Huey Army helicopter.
