We often hear about the political controversy over stem cell research, a complex interface between society and science, but rarely do we hear about other aspects of this state of the art research. Come learn about the significance of these exciting new methods for basic scientific research, and how they are being used on the UW-River Falls campus. You will become better equipped to understand and deal with the advances of science yet to come from these significant new fields. Presenter Timothy Lyden has more than 15 years of experience in the field of developmental and reproductive cell biology.
