Canadian author, Dr. Ruth Simkin, on a North American book tour, will present a reading from her new book, "The Jagged Years of Ruthie J"  Ruth’s stirring memoir detials her experiences as a teenager confined to a famous east coast mental hospital because of a diagnosis of epilepsy and her struggle to be set free. She later finished college and medical school and had a successful career as a physician.
