Description
Small Business Roundtables/Networking Sessions
Since Rep. Kind was appointed to the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee last year, he has been focusing on how he can best use his new committee assignment to better the lives of people in Western Wisconsin. In addition to the larger issues of Children’s Health Care (SCHIP), Medicare, and the Alternative Minimum Tax, Rep. Kind has been working on a small business agenda -- a number of measures that will help small businesses lower their health care costs, free up capital that they can reinvest into their businesses, and save for the future.
As Rep. Kind continues his work in this area, he wants to hear from businesses in the district about the issues they are facing, and what changes could be made to help them grow their businesses. He also wants area businesses to meet the staff that handles economic development issues so that they know there is an open door policy, and our office is here to help where we can.
