River Falls Bacon Bash 2020

Description

At their July meeting, the River Falls Chamber Board of Directors unanimously voted to cancel in-person events for Bacon Bash 2020. Similar to the cancellation of River Falls Days, many factors were considered. Given the recent outbreaks of COVID-19 in River Falls and the additional uncertainty as our community navigates school openings, the Board felt now was not the best time to host a large festival.
 
The Bacon Bash Committee will now shift gears to create a Virtual Bacon Bash based on the success of the 2020 Virtual River Falls Days.  
 
The Chamber is committed to continuing an active role in helping the community and local businesses recover and rebound from the economic impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. We are a proud partner of the City of River Falls and local public health officials in these efforts and they are a priority for our organization’s leadership and staff. We are working hard to position our organization and community for a successful 2021 even as we recognize that no one can predict how much COVID-19 will still be impacting our lives into the new year.
 
As with River Falls Days, the Chamber looks forward to working with the entire community to make our town events, including Bacon Bash, bigger and better in 2021.
