RIVER DAZZLE DAYZ
Holiday Raffle:
Purchase raffle tickets from the River Falls Chamber of Commerce, Bo’s N’ Mine, Lori’s Day Massage, Riverwalk Mercantile or Custom Needle for 12 chances to win Chamber Checks totaling over $1500. One winner drawn daily: Dec 8-12: $50; Dec 13-17: $100; Dec 18: $250; Dec. 19: $500. Tickets available for purchase through Dec. 18.
ALSO special discounts available to raffle ticket holders - see the River Falls Journal and Buyer’s Guide for participating businesses or look for the Red Stockings in the windows! Also ticket holders eligible to win at the Gift Giveaway at 5:45 p.m. in Veterans Park (see below).
11 a.m.- 6 p.m. Enjoy the ART CRAWL and purchase works from local artists. Pick up punch cards at participating retailers. Prizes, donated from the artists, will be drawn at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 29 at Custom Framing and Art. Must be present to win.
1-4:30 p.m. Visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus in Veterans Park with reindeer, camels, and llamas! Photos available with Santa for only $4.00. Candy canes courtesy Riverwalk Mercantile.
2-6 p.m. Participate in the 3rd annual Chili Cook-off at participating restaurants and retail shops. Taste and judge the best and enter a drawing for Chamber checks. Winners announced at 6:15 in Veteran’s Park. Must be present to win. Cups and spoons courtesy of Bo’s N’ Mine.
Afternoon Shows Movie at River Falls Theater. 1 and 3 p.m., $2 per person.
4:30-6:00 p.m. Free Hayrides Enjoy a ride around town! Loading will be on the riverwalk near Veteran’s Park. Courtesy of First National Bank and Terry McKay, ERA Muske Realty.
5:30 p.m. Lighting of the Trees on Main Street.
5:45 p.m. Gift Giveaway at Veterans Park. Buy a raffle ticket at the Chamber office and you could win special Santa Bucks to participating businesses. Must be present to win. Sponsored by the River Falls Journal.
6:15 p.m. Chili cook-off winners announced in Veteran’s Park. Winners must be present to win.
6:30 p.m. River Dazzle Parade Main Street between Pine and Locust. Prize given for the Most Dazzling entry. It’s not too late to participate in the parade! Click here for a parade entry form (all units must be lit).
Throughout the day: Warm beverages and holiday treats, sales at local main street merchants, concessions by the Kiwanis club in front of Foster Sports and Strolling Costumed Carolers.
