Description
Together We Prepare! The UW-RF Student Social Work Organization and the Chippewa Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross will provide a First Aid (lay rescuer) Adult CPR and Automatic External Defibrillation class. All in one day! This is a ''certified'' course and all successful registrants will receive cards. The first aid component will cover recognizing and caring for sudden illnesses and injuries including, stroke and seizures, diabetic shock and fainting; hypothermia and hyperthermia, including heat stroke and frostbite; allergic reactions and poisoning; injuries to bones and joints, cuts and bleeding emergencies, burns (electrical, thermal and chemical) and injuries to soft tissues and teeth.
