Part of the mystique of the Scottish Highlands is the tradition of kilt wearing and the clan affiliations attached to the plaid fabric they are made of. Nola Walter and Layton Traver from St. Croix Weaving in Hudson will be at the River Falls Public Library to take a look at the history of the cloth, talk about kilts, and help visitors find their tartan. With over 6,000 registered tartans, including state and military designations, there is a now tartan for everyone!
