Description
To kick off the Year of Germany program, UW-River Falls will be celebrating Oktoberfest from 5-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the University Center outside mall area. The evening will include music by UWRF Faculty Brass, The Jim Busta Band, Edelweiss Dancers and will feature a strolling accordion. Educational displays will feature Oktoberfest history, German agriculture equipment, German geographical displays, German parliament, German ancestry and Study Abroad opportunities.
