Description
Information and artifacts on loan from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will be part of a free exhibit at the River Falls Public Library beginning Sunday, December 21. The exhibit includes displays on the International Space Station, the Hubble telescope, life in space, the re-usable Space Shuttle system, the Apollo moon mission and much more. Additional related programs include ?Aeronautics: The First ?A? in NASA? on Monday, December 22 at 7pm. Jon Montgomery, director of the Integration and Management Office in the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters who will present a program on past, present and future NASA research. On Wednesday, January 28 at 7pm UW-River Falls physics professor Eileen Korenic takes us back to the early days of NASA when beating the Russians in the race to the moon was the first priority
