Description
Accompany Dr. Joe Gathman, UWRF Biology Dept. on a fact-finding mission to our local river as you learn stream habitat and the types of organisms that inhabit the Kinni. Measure dissolved oxygen and temperature, which are critical habitat factors for trout and other fish species. Examine aquatic invertebrates, which are often used as indicators of ecological integrity in streams. Meet at the library for a short walk to the Kinni.
