From Oct. 25-28, the Kinni Corridor Project will host a four-day “charrette” – an intensive series of community workshops, design labs, open houses, and presentations. The charrette provides an opportunity for community members to create a shared vision of the future of the Kinni River Corridor. Ideas and concepts that come out of the charrette will help inform the City Council's decision regarding the licensing of its two hydroelectric facilities. Community members are encouraged to participate as much as possible, especially during the presentations on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. See www.kinnicorridor.org/engage/charrette for the charette's public schedule. The web page also includes a “Charrette Toolkit," which community members can use to prep for the event.
