Description
This event is highlighted by ''A Race to Remember'' in memory of Eldon Kamrowski, who died suddenly on Christmas Day of 2003. Eldon was a happy, fun loving 13-1/2 month old who loved everything, especially playing with others, walking, running, falling, and most especially chasing after his idol and older brother Chance. Last year we had over 70 runners and over 300 family members participate. It was a wonderful success and we look forward to even more runners and more families participating this year. The day's events include a 10K and 5K run, Youth Fun Run, Stroller Derby, Tiny Tot Triathlon (a huge crowd pleaser, again last year), and Family Festival full of carnival style games and activities for ALL ages. Proceeds will go towards an Endowment Fund that was started after last year?s event in Eldon?s name and towards making the Kids Stuff program, the River Falls Area YMCAs free drop-in child care center even more supportive for kids ages 6 weeks-9 years old.
