Description
Hear the story of Shokrieh Rezabaksh who, after escaping danger and repression in war-torn Afghanistan, has repeatedly overcome the obstacles facing the daughter of a traditional Muslim family in one of the world's most repressive societies. She has traveled a long and difficult road to reach the United States, where she plans to attend college, educating herself to return to her homeland and participate in its transformation from failed state to vibrant center of culture and commerce, dedicated to freedom and advancement for all its citizens.
