Description
Please join Victory and Valor for Vets Project and Cracked Barrel Winery for our 1st Annual "Flag Retirement Ceremony and Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Presentation" (at 3:30pm) performed by the St. Croix-Chequamegon Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and the River Falls American Legion, Post 121, Honor Guard. Bring in your old flags for proper disposal and have the opportunity to purchase a new one knowing part of the proceeds will help a Veteran. Enjoy the beautiful setting of Cracked Barrel Winery while sipping wine, enjoying food supplied by Big Guys Barbecue, playing games, and looking over and bidding on the many silent auction items, and much more! It's the perfect venue to have this special ceremony to honor our Veterans and Families as Kristin and Dan, the owners of Cracked Barrel Winery, are Veterans themselves. All proceeds will go towards fulfilling our mission of "Restoring Hope, Honor, and Unity to Veterans, Service Members, and their Families that are suffering financially, physically, and/or mentally in the regions of Wisconsin and Minnesota". This is a dog friendly event, with a suggested donation to support VVVP's upcoming service therapy dog program, "Paws for a Cause".
