Description
The Midwest meets the Middle East as author Cathy Sultan recounts her 14 years in Beirut with her Lebanese physician husband and two children during that country's civil war. She has also written two other books about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a personal perspective. Sultan lives currently in Eau Claire and serves on the Executive Board of the National Peace Foundation.
