Chill on the Hill- St. Croix Valley Community Band

	The St. Croix Valley Community Band is a volunteer organization of approximately 80 musicians from River Falls, Hudson and surrounding communities. The ensemble has provided opportunites for local musicians to share their talents, develop their abilities, and make connections with other musicians since it’s inception in 1982 by director Kristin Tjornehoj. The band performs a wide variety of music, including symphonic band arrangements, marches, classical works, Dixieland, big band, musical theatre, and solo features. In addition to performing locaaly, the band traveled internationally to the Czech Republic in 2008.
