Meet Your Mayoral Candidates
The April 3rd election will be a big one for the River Falls City Council. There are seven seats on the council, four of which are up for election. One seat will be in the mayor's race where resident Dan Toland will oppose current Mayor Don Richards for the two-year term. Both candidates have agreed to be on hand to answer a few questions about their vision for the City of River Falls.
This will be an informal conversation with the candidates and there will be time for questions from the audience.
Questions will include:
- What are your work and educational backgrounds?
- What public offices have you held and/or how are you involved in the community?
- Why are you running for the office of Mayor?
- What issues, in your opinion, are big ones for the City of River Falls?
- How do you see yourself helping small businesses in River Falls?
