Author and bird habitat expert Mariette Nowak talks about her new book, "Birdscaping in the Midwest." Incorporating native plants into her designs, she tells how best to garden with an understanding of the connection between plants and birds. She has plans for gardens themes from prairie to woodlands, as well as raingardens and ponds. She will have her books for sale and signing that afternoon.
