Description
Karma has always loved the written word. As a kid she could usually be found with her face buried in a book, or writing stories about ice-skating elephants. Now that she’s (mostly) grown up, she’s a bestselling author whose debut novel, COME AWAY WITH ME, was a Globe & Mail Best 100 Books of 2015. Karma’s sophomore novel, THE CHOICES WE MAKE, also earned her a spot on the Globe & Mail and Toronto Star bestseller lists. Brown will be at the River Falls Public Library to promote her new book, THE LIFE LUCY KNEW. Thanks to Chapter 2 Books of Hudson for bringing this and other great authors to our library!
Also joining Ms. Brown will be best-selling author Amy Reichert. Amy E. Reichert, author of THE COINCIDENCE OF COCONUT CAKE, LUCK, LOVE & LEMON PIE, THE SIMPLICITY OF CIDER, and THE OPTIMIST'S GUIDE TO LETTING GO, loves to write stories that end well with characters you’d invite to dinner. A wife, mom, amateur chef, Fix-It Mistress, a volunteer baby snuggler, and cider enthusiast, she earned her MA in English Literature and serves on her library’s board of directors. Ms. Reichert will be at the RFPL to promote her new book, THE OPTIMIST'S GUIDE TO LETTING GO.
