Aldo Leopold: A View for All Seasons and Centuries Presentation by Marybeth Lorbiecki as part of the Sustainability Speakers Series Aldo Leopold was born in a mansion and died near his Shack. Not the usual symbol of greatness. He was never a great student and had no academic degrees and accolades. His most famous book wasn’t published till a week after he died and wasn’t really popular till the environmental movement of the 1970s, where it became known as the “conservationists’ Bible”. So what was it about Aldo Leopold, his life, work, and writings that make him absolutely relevant today? Come and find out!
