Description
W. Bruce Cameron, author of A Dog’s Purpose will be coming to River Falls Public Library! Join us on July 5th to help him showcase his new young adult book, MAX'S STORY. Mr. Cameron is the a New York Times Bestselling author and has published 15 books. His books are also internationally renowned, having been translated into over 50 languages.
Max’s Story is the newest addition to Cameron’s A Dog’s Purpose Puppy Tales series, which is a series for middle grade readers. Max’s Story is set in New York City. Max is a small dog with a big attitude, and when he meets his girl CJ, he knows that his purpose is to show her how to navigate the big city. Being a native New Yorker, Max knows how to take charge, even though he’s the smallest dog at the park. At the same time, with CJ’s help, Max learns that he doesn’t always have to be ferocious?sometimes, he can be “gentle Max” and make friends.
At 10:30 a.m. on the Library lawn, Mr. Cameron will give an author talk and present his new book, Max’s Story. This event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Dogs are welcome to attend!
Starting at 4 p.m., in the lower level of the Library, we will also be showing the movie, A Dog’s Purpose, and serving free pizza. All are welcome to join!
