2026 State of the City Address

Join us for the 2026 State of the City as we explore how the City of River Falls is being built – brick by brick.

Using the theme of LEGOs, we’ll highlight how thoughtful planning, strategic investments, and community collaboration serve as the building blocks of River Falls’ growth. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and the roadmap guiding the City forward – because every great build starts with a single brick and a clear plan.

A buffet-style breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:00 a.m. The State of the City Address, presented by City Administrator Scot Simpson with an introduction by Mayor Dan Toland, will begin at 8:00 a.m. The cost for breakfast is $24; general admission for the presentation is free.

 
            Guests partaking in breakfast must register in advance. Registration for breakfast closed Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

            Registration is not required for general admission guests attending the presentation.
 
            Event schedule:
            ​7:15 a.m. – Doors Open
            7:30 a.m. – Breakfast buffet opens
            8:00 - 8:30 a.m. – Introduction by Mayor Dan Toland and presentation by City Administrator Scot Simpson
            8:30 - 9:00 a.m. – Networking

            Breakfast buffet will include:
            Scrambled eggs
            French toast with whipped butter and maple syrup
            Roasted breakfast potatoes
            Bacon and sausage links
