SUMMARY:Women and Global Climate Change: What's the Connection?
DESCRIPTION:Free Community Classroom Lecture Series: A lot has been written about global climate change\, but what impact is this having on the people who are the least responsible for creating the problem -- the poorest people already living in marginalized circumstances around the world. What are we in the world's nongovernmental organizations doing to assist these people and communities in taking steps toward adapting and preparing for the consequences of first-world behaviors. Presenter Greta Gaard is a faculty member in the English Department at UWRF. Held at the River Falls Public Library.
