DESCRIPTION:The UW-River Falls Music Department will present a CHAPTER 11 Jazz Concert featuring UWRF Alumni Steve Kenny and David Roos on Tuesday\, Nov. 8\, at 7:30 p.m. in the Abbott Concert Hall of the Kleinpell Fine Arts building at UW-River Falls. Admission is free.\n\n \n\nCHAPTER 11 is an all-original jazz group comprised of Kenny on trumpet and Roos on guitar as well as Twin Cities professional musicians Paul Harper on tenor sax and flute\, Chris Lomheim on piano\, Tom Pieper on bass\, and Nathan Norman on drums. CHAPTER 11's genesis occurred in 1987 as Kenny\, Roos\, and other like-minded students at UW-River Falls formed a jazz sextet emphasizing the performance of original material. \n\n \n\nCHAPTER 11 recently reunited after a 14-year hiatus and is in the process of recording a new CD. .
