DESCRIPTION:Let's Make Soap! with Shady Lane Farm\n\nWorkshop Information\n\n\n\nYears ago soap making was a rather unpleasant but very necessary chore. Today\, it's a hobby and a fun one at that! This class will present several methods along with healthy and natural ideas for scenting\, tinting\, molding\, cutting\, and packaging. Great for both the novice and those who would like to share their trade secrets!\n\n\n\nLocation\, Date\, and Times:\n\nSaturday\, February 16\, 2013:\n\nThe Servant Quarters Bed and Breakfast\n\nN7453 910th Street\n\nRiver Falls\, WI 54022\n\n\n\nThe all-day workshop consists of four sessions:\n\nI) 8:30   10:00 Cold-process soap (water and milk-based)\n\nII) 10:15   Noon Hot-process soap\, herbs\, oils\, essential oils\n\nIII) 12:30   2:00 Liquid soap\, trouble-shooting and\n\nhand-milling techniques\n\nIV) 2:15   5:00 Soap Lab (see Page 3)\n\n\n\nYou may register for just the first session\, the first two\, the first three\, or all four. (Sessions build on each other\, so it is necessary to start with Session I.)\n\n\n\nCost:\n\n$18.00 per session. Fee includes all class notes and handouts\, class-produced hot-process bar and 7 oz. foaming liquid soap pump\, Shady Lane Farm cold-process bar\, all necessary supplies and ingredients for Sessions I   III.
