SUMMARY:Kayak for Western Wisconsin Autism Advocacy and Counseling Center (WWAACC)
DESCRIPTION:A fundraiser called Kayak for WEstern Wiconsin Autism ADvocacy and Counseling Cneter will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday\, Aug. 7\, at teh Kinni Creek Lodge on Main STreet.  Persons taking part will enjoy a float on the upper Kinnickinnic River to benefit autism.  After the trip\, games\, prizes\, beverages and dinner will be offered at teh Kinni Creek Lodge.  Pre-registration is required as space is limited.  Fees include kayak rental\, transports\, snacks\, beverages\, dinner\, games and prizes.  Physical ability to get in and out of a kayak is necessary.  Persons not interested in kayaking can stop by for dinner at 4 p.m.  All proceeds will go to WWAACC\, a non-profit organization\, located in Hudson\, that was developed by parents and family members of children with autism spectrum disorders.  The group's mission is to empower\, educate\, and support familites\, caregivers\, educators\, and service providers of children with ASD\, and to provide resources and information in order for parents to make informed decisions regarding the needs of their child.
