We will examine aspects of controlled marketing\, viral digital and traditional marketing techniques.  Participants will also be encouraged to share items they would like covered in the remaining sessions. October 28: Brand Value: Establish Your Unique Selling Proposition (USP)Do you know off the top of your head what sets your business products and services apart from you competition?  When was the last time you evaluated your own customer service?  This seminar offers insight into the most successful niche' companies and how they created their USP.  In addition\, we will show you how to look for and create the USP niche' in your own company. November 11: Cast Your Net Deep and Wide: How to Generate Additional Income in Any EconomyOver the years\, the economy has suffered ups and downs\, recessions\, high gas prices\, forclosurers\, bank bailouts and the like.  Many companies cut costs by cutting employess\, cutting their marketing and advertising budget to almost nonexistent proportions in an effort to conserve\, to save money.  This seminar provides insight on how to create new\, long-term income streams as a hedge against the economy. November 25: Words ARE Important: How to Say ItLanguage\, the words we choose to express information have become a critical element in the way we market\, advertise and in the way we brand ourselves.  What do you marketing materials say about you and your company?  Is your message effective? Is the content compelling - does it motivate and call to action?  If not\, you could be losing significant revenue and long-term\, loyal customers. Find out how effective these methods are and how they may or may not play a significant role in your own marketing strategies. January 13: Your Website: Is It Working FOR you?Is your website converting traffic into customers?  What additional information can you include on your website to provide value to your customers?  Should you capture email addresses\, and if so\, what to do with them.  What is the best way to implement new technologies (blogging\, podcasting\, web 2.0) into an existing website? January 27: Website: Getting Customers to Your SiteSearch Engine Optimization\, chances are you have heard of it but have not paid much attention to it.  This relevent and important seminar focuses on how to make your site visible and how to drive prospects to your site.  We show you how important web analytics and tracking are to the success of your business and WHY they are so important. February 10: Concentrated Strategies: Timing IS EverythingThis seminar offers participants an opportunity to learn and implement cost-effective methods used by the professionals.  Learn how you can get the most out of your advertising and marketing strategies by combining efforts and fostering a streamlined approach rather than a frenzied\, ineffective shotgun approach to marketing and advertising initiatives. February 24: The Plan: Pull Yourself TogetherThis seminar will prompt participants to examine their current strategies and the effectiveness of each.  We will begin by determining what methods of advertising\; marketing public relations and branding have been successful in the past.
