BRIDGE For Community Life is a non-profit organization providing community-based life skills training, employment services, and social and recreational programs for youth and adults with disabilities in the St. Croix Valley area.

If you have been a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Direct Support Professional, Caregiver, or have had similar experience and are ready to use your skills in a more dynamic environment - this position is just for you!

A great opportunity to gain hands on experience in a non-profit organization for those going into the teaching field, special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or medical industry.

POSITION: Program Assistant with Morning Route

ROLE: Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities throughout their daily activities in an Adult Day Service program


HOURS: Full-time position with hours varying between 35-40 hours per week.

TIMEFRAME: 7:15 am-3:00 p.m.

STARTING WAGE: $13.00 per hour

Must be 18 years old or older

High school diploma or GED required

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Pass a criminal history background check

Walk, Stand, bend, stoop, reach, push or pull up to 80 lbs., occasionally lift, carry, transfer up to 60 lbs.

Engage individuals with disabilities in activities in the community

Provide safe and efficient transportation for individuals with disabilities to the Adult Day Services programs - training provided

Lead small group classes such as - cooking, daily living skills, art, nutrition, community resources, etc.

Assist with personal cares - training provided

Administer medications - training provided
