Jul 8    Author Talk: Beverly Finn "You won't Be Coming Back"
Author Beverly Finn will be at the River Falls Public Library to talk about her new book. Her memoir, ?You Won?t Be Coming Back? is the true story of a dysfunctional family beset by poverty and child abuse in the 1940s and ?50s, and one sibling?s journey into a life of achievement with the help of friends and faith. It chronicles her life in a foster home, her college years in River Falls, and then her present life as a well-respected and successful adult in Illinois. Her story speaks with bold honesty of the strength and resilience of the human spirit. It is a source of inspiration, especially for young girls ? this personal journey has a happy ending.
