A PUBLIC PRESENTATION WITH DR. DEVORAH HEITNER

Wednesday, September 13 at 6:30pm
Location: RFHS Auditorium, 818 Cemetery Rd
Join us for a very special evening with Dr. Devorah Heitner. Heitner is an international speaker, best-selling author, and the founder and director of Raising Digital Natives, a research-driven online resource designed to help parents and educators empower children (and keep kids safe) in a world of digital connectedness. Mark your calendar! This FREE public presentation is on Wednesday, September 13, at 6:30PM in the High School Auditorium (RSVP to our Facebook event for updates!).  FREE childcare will be available. No preregistration is necessary.

Many parents feel that their kids are addicted, detached, or distracted because of their digital devices. Heitner’s book, Screenwise, offers a realistic and optimistic perspective on how parents can thoughtfully guide kids in the digital age. Join us for this community-wide conversation- perfect for parents, teachers, or anyone interested in gaining insight into kids’ digital worlds. This is also a perfect professional development resource for organizations wishing to cultivate a culture of responsible digital citizenship! Check out our follow-up events below!
